I have had one chick hatch. One of the others is not hatching. It had a blood spot on the shell I don’t know how it got it, and it appears to be wrapped in a clear film? I don’t know what is going on or if that is normal. The one that had the stuck membrane is bleeding and won’t break through. What should I do?

The first chick look to be ok. Just taking no a break.. As long as it is breathing it should be fine. The other one you may want to moisten the membrane and maybe pull it open a little more. Maybe chip the shell clear around.

I would leave them both for at least 1/2 hr... I don’t think the second one is nearly ready yet, maybe moisten the membrane with coconut oil instead, but give them some time.

This yellow stuff just came out of one of my newly hatched chicks. I am kind o worried I have been researching it for the past ten minutes and I can’t find anything that’s sounds like it! Is that normal? What is it?

A damp cloth is good

No... can chill the chick. Keep it dry.

And don't use water to moisten membranes, use coconut oil or antibiotic ointment.
I work on assisting under a utility lamp low to table, adds warmth and I can see better.
