PLEASE HELP ASAP

I am going to have to say this egg is no where near close to hatching.

When you look in this air cell are you seeing any veins or any movement at all.
And sturdy duck like movement or and swishy water like movement?

Nope it all looks dark to me, when i've move it around it stays in place it's not swishy at all.

I wish I could smell it.



This one is tough.

You can leave it in the bator and wait and hope it doesn't explode.
or you can put it in a ziplock bag and open it outside.



For real though if it stinks...it's no good and by the looks of the air cell alone it is not ready to hatch IF it is still alive.

Oh gosh okay, to me it doesn't smell bad or rotten. My parents think it smells fishy like the beach if that helps any??

It's smelt kinda fishy since last night, it's always has a musty smell. However this is definitely new.

I have had duck eggs go two or three days beyond due date.
If that is all it smells like it probably is not bad.
a rotten egg smells like burnt sulphur and then some..
I would just leave it alone and let it try to hatch..
all this monkeying around candling and handling it will probably kill it..
IMHO

This was the only incubator they had at my local feed store that didn't have a huge egg holder

I don't know how this one works...
I'd probably go ahead and leave it for another day or so just to see what happens.
If the smell gets worse...run!
