That’s fine. Can use Neosporin on any small wounds if no Blu Kote also.

Saline will be fine to use. Clean it up well and either use Vetricyn or plain Neosporin (not with pain relief, as it is toxic to chickens!)

Giving her sav a chick electrolytes in water according to package directions should perk the chick up. Might be still in shock. Make sure in warm quiet isolated environment

I think she is still bleeding because the "naked neck" area is getting bigger. Am I panicking for no reason? Is this merely a flesh wound or something a bit more serious?

Is the bleeding like a hematoma under intact skin or open area? No you are not freaking out.

Is is swelling like your skin would after an injury, or do you feel air under her skin? Chicks and birds have air sacs throughout their bodies, and sometimes an injury can cause an air sac to leak under the skin. Is she breathing okay? Do you have electrolytes or SaveAChick to offer her in water? Poultry NutriDrench is very good to keep around, and if you have it, she could have a drop or two. Time will tell if she is just in shock or injured severely. Do you have other chicks that were with her?

How can I tell the difference? I feel like I need to take her to the Vet but I really can't afford it

Is she bleeding in the lower part of the wound? You can apply some pressure with a finger until it stops. Keep her warm, and in a quiet environment.

You can apply pressure for 10 minutes with gauze in case oozes. Check and see then.
