Please help! Do I need to put coconut oil on pip?

Pics
I'm going to raise humidity a little bit. The CCL that I checked hasn't pipped yet. I don't want to harm them but I also don't want the Spitz to shrink wrap

Yeah, the Spitz is doing what's called shadowing. Its them stretching out the membrane before they internally pip. Upping the humidity is fine. They can't shrink wrap until they externally pip though. Is it day 20?

Ok. So don't worry too much about humidity until one of them externally pips? I am just trying to cover all of my bases since I keep losing so many.
One of the CCL was starting to worry me by not moving but they finally gave me a sign of life! Yay!
Is shadowing typical for Day 20?

Yes, today is Day 20 :) I'm trying to not get excited, but it's not easy. They're all moving a little bit every so often
Sounds perfect! It is exciting. I hope this baby hatches for you. Is he the only Spitz that made it? Also, you could maybe brood it with the Serama. I bet the little dears would be very tame.

Yeah, don't worry too much. You want to make sure you up it within an hour of the first external pip though. I hope the CCLs all hatch! Yes, shadowing and internal pips are very common on day 20. Hopefully you get an internal pip today. That would be a good sign. I hope you have a great hatch rate this time. :fl
