Please help me determine breed of my chickens!

Welcome to BYC!! Are they standard size or bantam? The bottom pic looks like a barred Plymouth rock, and the other an Easter egger...

i agree! top looks like an easter egger and bottom looks like a barred rock, very pretty chickens

You have an easter egger and a cukoo marans. A barred rock would have yellow legs

Oh...well anyway, this is my barred rock and her legs look the same. She's a year+ and I got her at a hatchery and she lays regular

If you enlarges op' s photo you will see that the birds skin is white ( Marans) where yours is yellow (rock). More telling than egg color since not all Marans produce eggs that are all that dark, especially hatchery stock

I agree I was thinking the brown was a easter egger. The other one I was not sure if she is a barred rock due to the fact that her legs are pinkish, not yellow. That one just started laying brown eggs with speckles, the eggs just got firm.

Ok so I think she is indeed a Marans because the egg is a light brown
