Please help? Newly hatched quail just sleeping

Okay thank you. Also is there any chance the sac can just detach? The cord attaching it to the sac seems like it's getting thinner
It might, but don't help it. It needs those nutrients if it can get them. Even if it makes it for a couple of days, don't be surprised if it goes to sleep one day and doesn't wake up. If it does survive, it is likely to be smaller than the rest of your birds.

The firstborn chick has bullied the other chicks too much so it is in baby jail and now non stop screeching. Didn't care for the food just wanted attention or else it would drag the other chicks by the feet :barnie

Already in the male jail haha…I have a new baby that’s trying to attack the newest baby too. I redirected it a bunch and it’s finally quit. Little butts! :)

Sometimes you just have a jerk bird 😕
I have a few Rosetta females who have just been mean from the get go, I don't breed them but I haven't culled because they are good layers and are fine housed together, but separate from everyone else. If they were boys they'd be supper. Hopefully some time alone will help.

It’s true! I have a mean hen that actually lives with three males because she’s too mean for the hen den! She doesn’t get overused cuz she scares the men too! Ha. She is also my best layer…so as long as this arrangement works I figure she can stay haha. :)

I had a similar situation, had a super mean hen who was attacking the other hens, I put her in male jail hoping she would get taken down a peg, an hour later the 3 males are all cowering in one cinderblock hole and she’s strutting around confidently. I determined she was too mean to change, and culled her.
