Please help! Post-pasty butt; chick is going downhill. What are the odds she’ll recover?

Vetiricyn is a spray for wounds and itches. There’s also Blu Kote that does more than keep others from pecking. And if you want prolapse help, sugar will shrink it, as will preparation H. I don’t know what happened to preparations A through G.
Okay. I’ll see what I can do, we don’t have those on hand.

So, she’s still better. But her vent, which is a bit prolapsed, is dried and cracked and bloody and scabby.
I’ve been applying pure petroleum jelly to it.
My poor baby.
Suggestions?
I'm glad to hear she's doing better.
If she's prolapsing, then she's straining to poop. I would make sure she's getting more fluids. Offer her wet mash to eat for a while instead of dry crumbles. I would also give her a little coconut oil or mineral oil (to eat).
Photos of the vent? Vaseline is fine. As @BullChick suggested, sugar or honey can help shrink the tissue.
Watch to see if the other chicks are picking at her vent or she may be picking at it herself if she's having a hard time pooping.

Here she is. So big!
