Please help Unknown thing in chicken eye

My 8 month old Orpington hen has a strange thing in her eye. I just noticed it yesterday and I think that was the first day it was there. Does anybody know what this is, how to treat it or if it is contagious to the rest of my flock? Anything helps! Thank you!

It looks pretty unusual, such as a growth in the conjunctiva. I also see bubbles or foam in the eye. Do you think that she was pecked by another chicken? Do you have a regular vet that could see her? I would at least put some Terramycin eye ointment or Vetericyn eye gel into her eye twice a day until you find out what it is.
