He is doing so well!!! He lost every tip of his toes, but he's getting around well and he's even trying to crow!!!

I just read the post about your sick J.G. roo. Is there an update ? Did he recover or go too chickie heaven ? he sounded so very sweet.

He is doing so well! He has been able to spend the days out side with his girls and his crow is almost 100%. He is truly an amazing animal. He must have really wanted to live. We love his so much. Everyday when I come home from work he greats me and expects a back scratch. We are treating him with vetrycin for an ear infection. Here's a picture of him with my dad.

Is he in a different place from the other chickens?? if not he might pass on whatever he has. there is a yellow powder chicken antibiotic (i forget what it is called) that treats most sickness and give him electrolites.
