I can't wait until they are all done and fluffy. I just want to say thank you so very much to every single one of you that has helped me and answered all my questions...I would have never had this success without all of you!

Congrats! Hope you will post some pics!

I have been trying to upload a photo and it will not upload...I will try later. I do have a question...I did some research on feather sexing and I do notice differences in the feathers...how much do you guys trust feather sexing when their is a noticeable difference?

I think it depends on the breed, whether its reliable or not. I'm on mobile, so going backwards is a pain. Did you say what kind of chicks?

Ok, anyway, I think feather sexing depends on the breed. I read that my lavender orpingtons females would grow their flight feathers longer and faster than the males. I thought for sure I had 5 or 6 out of 10 males! But only turned out to be 3 out of 10 males. Check out the "what gender/sex is this" section. Maybe you will get some ideas.

Yes, feather sexing can only be determined on certain breeds with a slow feathering parentxa fast feathering parent.

So even if the wing pattern is different on these 2 chicks I can have 2 of the same sex???
Yes. Are they same breed? Do you know if the parents are fast/slow feathering. It's possible that you by chance ended up with a feather sexable breed, but unless you know the parenting crosses I wouldn't count on that to determine sex.
