Can't really tell by the pic but might be Trichomoninasis, or canker. Yellowish lesions appear in the throat and esophagus, sorta rounded protrusions.
Treatable with Metronidazole at 60mg/kg of body weight.
and Dimetridazole at 50mg/kg of body weight in the drinking water (0.05%) for 5 to 6 days. These drugs haven't been approved in the USA.
Best to get Phantom to a vet. Hope he/she recovers quickly.

What if I treated him with this. Would it hurt him?
I really would like to take him to a vet but they would probably charge a rediclous amount to see a crane.

Yes we have a bunch. The closest it petco. Do you think they would have it? Or more of a fish store.
