Ok, Its finally day 18. A couple more to go.

I took the eggs out of the egg cartons and laid them on their side directly on the shelve lining stuff.
Added a bunch more water, to increase humidity.
Water weasel temp = 100.2
Humidity = 67

The next ting I'm looking for is rocking, the eggs will move slighly
Then I will see them start a tiny hole
Then the chick will start cracking around the shell, and come out.
I leave them in the hatcher for 24 hrs, then to the brooder at 95 deg.
Does that sound right?

It doesn't work. I've spent almost every waking moment in here with them since yesterday morning. Four hours of sleep last night, then 2 more hours in the morning and a quick nap this afternoon. I've got one pipping and one that hasn't started. Another long night!

You folks aren't helping me with my temptation to purchase a bator and some eggs. I'm about to cave in. I keep telling myself NO! NO! but it ain't working. Here I am on BYC and jumping back and forth shopping for a bator and sources for eggs. I guess the only thing holding me back right now is lack of education on the subject.
Doing tons of research. Looked at a bator at the feed store this afternoon. Not sure how much longer I can hold out. One would think that with 35 baby chicks in hand and 25 more coming, that would suffice. It probably would for most, but it isn't working for me. Need some serious help with this illness.
I wish each of you the very best success with your hatch and am so sorry for the ones that failed. I am watching this thread with interest in an effort to learn as much as possible.
