We are about to expand our ducks' home. Can anyone elaborate on their water-changing systems? Filters? Siphons? Plugs in bottom that drain?

Right now our two sweeties love their rather large baby pool, however, Mommy is killing her back cleaning it out every two days (bailing and dumping method). I worry about the bacteria factor.

So as we look to put in a bigger pool or permanent pond, we would love to know this answer first!

I got a used pond liner (500 gallon) WITH pump for only $50. For filtering, I made a modified skippy filter....
