Keep it moist and warm. It appears there is still some blood vessels in the membrane. I have a mister with warm water and I mist the eggs every so often when they are ready to hatch. Some people are against this but it works for me. My last hatch wasn't 100% but was 87%. If you decide to assist, be very careful. I have some chicks hatching right now.

Do I need to put Vaseline on it then see if it comes out on it's own

Put the Vaseline on the exposed membrane and post another picture, it'll help to see what's going on!

You only needed a thin layer, sorry should have said that first! But I think I would go slow and assist, usually putting Vaseline on makes the membrane see through. Do you have anything to stop bleeding if it happens just in case?
