Please tell me Beano works for dogs?

OK so that has to be our word of the day. Everyone please learn it and use in at least 2 sentences. Thank you.

I'll bet my 40lb pugapoo could beat your pit in a farting contest. And the part about hearing them leak out, yep, been there, done that too many times. Before he went blind, sometimes he would let one of those high pitched ones out and then turn around as if to see what had just come out of him. It was hilarious!

Never thought of giving Beano to him.

Try adding some good stuff for his stomach, like yogurt (sugar-free, fat-free). Diets with mostly corn and wheat are bad also.

My pit bull is the second fartingest dog on the planet.

My fiance's meds make him the fartingest person on earth.

Is that good use of the word of the day?

We have a greyhound who is the fartingest dog ever. He can really clear the room.

We began to feed him a good scoop of canned pumpkin and a good scoop of plain yogurt on his food. He is no longer the fartingest dog ever. He is still slighty farty, but not near as bad.

I forget where I learned about the pumpkin/yogurt.

Yes, charcoal helps, but so does adding a good digestive enzym/probiotic to the diet. You can give the same ones humans take, just read the label and make sure there isn't extra stuff like flavorings or anything. You want pure live cultures/microbes whatever. Usually they come in a capsule form you can open and sprinkle on the food. Personally, I do not give my dogs dairy products. I don't feel they were really designed to eat dairy, but that is just my personal deal. Too, sometimes you need more healthy bacteria than yogurt will provide. You can also crush the charcoal down and mix it into a batch of dog cookies if your dog won't eat it outright.

Pits are like goats, they will eat anything. I have a chunk of the backporch stairs missing now. Mine sleeps in the mudroom.

Deb used the word fartingest in two sentances while "working." Way to go Deb!

I don't know...my 7 year old has been having issues and she's the fartingest seven year old I have ever known. I keep blaming the dog and then I realize it's her!

me,
g

Yogurt is a good idea, but it might be better to eliminate the cause in the first place....

Look at the label on your dog's food. If the ingredients CORN or WHEAT are on there....there is your gas source.
