I am also seeing it in some of my Lavender ameraucanas. I think I know where that is coming from and he is going to get the ax. The GNH I hatched from someone else so I can't fix it in future gens. I have kept the pullets and I will work with them with my Reg NH and try to get some lacing in them. It is going to be a uphill battle.

What is GNH? NH is New Hampshire, right? Sorry, I've just never seen the acronym before :p

I hear it's very prominent in silkies, and it's always a huge discussion on the breeding thread.

I hope you can breed it out. I'd be interested to see how long it takes for it to be bred out. DO you see a difference the way the wing is laid when they have split wing, or just when you fan them out?

Quote: I don't have a GNH roo... they were all way too bad and had to go. I have 4 reg NH roos growing out now so we will see. I didn't breed my reg NH to any standards, they were just for eggs, so we will see. I have some GNH chicks growing out so maybe I will get better results. If I can remember I will. I would think it would be a HIGH percent though. I will have to CULL very hard.

Pictures of my 10 week old WPR. She does not seem to have as much tail as my others. Is that normal?
