Here are Alice and Neela coming off their molts. Alice has lost lots of weight, but hopefully, now that the feathers are almost all back, she'll be regaining that. They are fabulous layers. LOVE my Rocks! *The Marvin Stukel BR pullets are in and out of nests and Dottie actually sat on one of the EE's eggs yesterday for the first time ever, so eggs should be coming soon-they're 28 weeks old now, these younger ones.*

Stan, Alice (the light one) and Neela are just fabulous girls, as is their black sister, Emily. Eventually, my flock will be all Plymouth Rocks, both barreds and BBS, with a few EE and/or Ameraucanas for colored eggs, plus my three or four Buff Orpingtons for broodies. I also have my chosen bantam breed, the Belgian D'Anvers. It's taken trying out a few breeds over the years, but I know what I really love and Barred Rocks are at the top of the list.
