Polish - male or female?

Hey everyone!
My little Polish is about 9 weeks now. I swear, their Afro fluffed up overnight! I’ve heard you can tell the gender by the crest shape - round for female, pointy for male. My question is, which category would this fall under? The feathers look pointed but the hair do is round. Tried to get a full body pic but too squirmy, lol. No saddle feathers or downward facing tail feathers (yet).
Do I need to wait another month? My frizzle Roo of the same age has has been crowing for a month now, but I haven’t heard a peep out of this fella. Dying to know!

It appears to be a pullet so far but bearded Polish are difficult because it inhibits wattle growth which is one of the best indicators of gender in Polish. I would update in a couple weeks to be sure!
