Polish WCB and WCBL Breeding Questions

I had my birds seperated they were 7 months old WCBL roo with 2 Hens Then WCB 2 roo's with 3 hens. I had a predator pull my beautiful WCBL roo through the cage. They also got my BL hen so I have a lonely BL roo.
My question is can I put my WCBL hens with a WCB roo and still get some WCBL or is this a no no and I just need to find another roo.

I think the blue in the WCBl is the same as it is in any other blue colored bird so you would get 50/50 WCBl and WCB I think

Which genes make the crest a different colour than the rest of the bird? (regardless of what colour)
