I have one very polite pekin drake(Frick). I believe he is about 3 years old - he always is very sweet to his mate (Frack) and my one disabled male and my 8 4 month old ducklings - (only Mates on water after she gives permission , protects from the dogs , stands guard while she lays her egg ) literally the sweetest boy - I also have two trouble maker boys who have been in jail together because they are brutal to the girls. It’s their first year mating - do you think with age they will calm down and stop being psychos ? Or do I need to start looking for a new home. It’s so sad seeing them in jail ( also should add frick was very mean last year to the 2 trouble makers last year when they were babies so I think with age came wisdom).
