You think like most people. You don't realize that if I can pay $25 an hour to hire someone that first I have to deduct Social Security and Medicare and unemployment and other state and local deductions then healthcare sick days vacations. So now you don't the $25 an hour you only get about $13 an hour. But it's still costing me $25 an hour.
A 20 employee small business doesn't get much of a health insurance break.

What do you think the system should be? How do low income families get health insurance regardless of existing medical conditions? I am honestly interested as I also think the system is very broken and that Obamacare is a compromise no one is really happy with.
I am also fully aware of the breakdown. Half of my income is 1099 and I pay all the regular employee taxes on it plus all of the employer taxes, ss, etc you list.
