For so long, the State of California has had to choose the lesser of two evils and hearing them going at it on TV and the radio every single hour of the day makes me want smack them silly.

I am SO happy not to have TV - especially when my DD's friend's parents tell me about how their child won't stop asking for "X". I get all my TV via hulu.com (love it!). If I need a long respite from thinking, I'll rent a movie.

Life is so much better without TV!

^Oh yeah, that's especially nice at Christmas... OY the Furbies... and Tickle Me Elmo... all those crazes because they bombard kid's TV with ads... nightmare! I hadn't even thought of that similarity.
