POLL: How much do you pay for a 50# bag of feed???

Hi, all I pay 10.00 for a 50# bag of laying crumbles
20% pro. Here in Mountain Home Idaho. 45 miles out of Boise. I do not feed organic.

I think I am alone here on long island Ny, its amazing trying to find a local feed store. Going to shop around tomorrow morning, I found a few feed stores, I will post tomorrow so you all can GASP at the prices, I wanted to feed all Organic but I do not know if I will be afford it.

I pay $6.95 here in north central Ky. for 16% layer mash. that is not organic but i have ask and they told me they would custom grind about any ration i choose for about the same price.
 
I just purchased a 50# bag of purina layer pellets for 11.50 <G> and a cash 2% discount <G> so I saved 23 cents, so only 11.27 <G>
Worked out great for me as it is sold her in town! so not even out of my way.

The range in prices sure is interesting, especially given that 50# of corn costs around $5 and 50# of SBM is between $8.5 and $9.00.

We have started carrying a formulation with the Phytase enzyme to help reduce the inclusion of inorganic phosphate in the ration and liberate some phytin-bound energy from the corn.
