$14.65 for 16% layer pellets
$16.65 for 20% layer pellets
(Del's is a Northwest chain, will check to see what it is here in Washington --- hey silkiechicken is that where you get yours ?)
from Wai Ulu Farms (local on Maui)
$19.95 for 16% layer pellets ... don't offer 20%
Del's on Maui offers chick starter, 50#, for the $14.65 price
and 10# for $4.65
Wai Ulu offers not only chick starter but also game bird starter, so since my chicks there were game-bird mix (roo was RJF cross) and the protein content was higher and not medicated, that's what I bought them ... and oh boy did they scarf it down .. compared to the chick starter I got at Del's
(in both cases, both stores offer 10# bags as well)
I get mine at the local co-op. Del's is a 50 minute drive out to the country.
Layer broke down to about 13 a 50 lb bag, while layer supplement was about 16.
It is the Honor brand. Purina Scratch is about 12 a 50lb bag... I don't see why I'd want to feed scratch since it's just a snack and saves only a dollar vs a layer mash.
i get mine from IFA feed store right now i feed them whole corn which is 8.50 a bag also some chicken scratch it's 11.50 a bag i checked the price on laying mash it is 13.50 a bag. eveything is about $2.00 more then last year.

I have checked Dels prices and they always seem to be a couple of bucks more than the Grange (Issaquah)
I buy at the Old Mill Country Store in Ellensburg and pay 12.45 for Start and grow
13.30 for flock raiser
12.00 for Layena
13.95 for gamebird raiser
My prices have stayed they same lately....
It is $12.79 for 50# of Purena Layena pellets here. However, if you get the Poultry Press they have a coupon every month that is a buy one, get $5 off the second bag offer. So, if you buy 2 bags with the coupon, it averages out to $10.29 per bag.
