I always avoid thinking about boogers when I eat tartar sauce.

The weird thing is it’s labeled “sandwich spread” and they sell a tartar sauce too! What the heck.

Tartar sauce, most of it is .. tart, vinegary? Too much even. I like it on the creamy side. It's hard to find but House Autry makes a really good tartar sauce that is not just pickled relish mixed in with the stale diet miracle whip that didn't sell.

However, again, if you make your own, that is the way to go !
