I wish they weren’t different it’s very confusing sometimes.Australian pekins are bantam, Its weird how most countries are different
Nope - Bielefelders. A farm store near where my friend lives had some last summer and because they were already 3 weeks old they were half price! I'd been wanting some, so what was I to do??? I used to have a Barnevelder but she is no longer with me.cute, also did you mean barnevelder not bielefelders? i love chickens i think it annoys my sister cos i talk all most 24/7 (not really i just do it lots)about chickens
I also think they're really pretty. They are big too - bigger than my "normal" chickens. And boy can they eat! I let them free range every day so I'm sure that helps. They started laying in early December, which surprised me. I thought I'd have to wait until spring. They lay about 5 eggs a week. Decent.wow they are pretty i just googled them and they remind me of bard Plymouth rocks
Silkies are so funny, i had to put my silkie to bed because she didn't know how to get onto the roost! they were my second pick after the light sussexI chose silkie though I also like pekin, polish and Rhode Island Red.
Australorps are the sweetest birds
It appears that a lot of people have not heard of the Buckeye. The main reason for this is because during WWI or WWII people thought that some other breeds were better for their uses. In 2003 (I think) There was close to 100 breeding chickens. Then they had a resurgence, but they were not as good as before, so (I forgot the organization) but they started to "return" the Buckeye to its former glory. People today consider the Buckeye a rare chicken breed.Wow that breed sounds pretty cool, I've never heard of them, lemme go search it up!
Sad that you can’t change the poll , can you still add breeds?Okay Thankyou, I've never had them so i probably shouldnt have put them together, But Thanks, Hmm i dont think i can edit the poll choices!
Yes!I wish they weren’t different it’s very confusing sometimes.
Can I still join in with the poll if I don’t have any chickens yet?
