Poll: World's Best Breed

I think you should do a poll where you can pick up to three breeds. That would give a more interesting results..... I'm a bit surprised so many people like silkies

I just can't get over silkies lack of regular and large egg production

. I'm only interested in breeds that are friendly AND lay regular largish sized eggs.....Australorps, Barred Rocks, Buff Orpingtons....chicken breeds like that

Plus I think they're a bit ...ugly

Soooo ugly they're cute if you know what I mean. Oh well to each his/her own

That was a tough choice. I love my EE and orps too but they are not as sweet and cuddly as my silkies.

as much as i love my bantam cochins i have to go with my bantam favs! much sweeter and the roos are funny! i have one that laughs at me often! just can't get over their 'talking' and curious, bearded faces when they come up to check the treats i have for the day!
