We should try to get that into the Olympics.
Betcha we could get the gold medal with a team made up of people here on BYC.

Rob, you think chicken poop is gross, one time at work (vet tech) I reached my hand in my pocket to get my pen, only to find a cat poo covered pen....now THAT was disgusting!!!

May I ask how that happened?

I never reach in there to pick up poop. I just take out the bottoms and dump the shavings out and put new ones in.

When I first began to keep chickens, I felt guilty for picking up the droppings in the pen, not even to mention the coop. Now, I take pride in scooping up the accumulation several times a day, and does it ever pay off big time during fly season!

And the eggs rarely need washing.

Well call me chicken but I have a box of plastic food gloves in the coop. Now I have become a poo flicker when I missed a little nugget just to get it out of the nest. Does that count????

Well, I was holding the cat while it was recovering from sedation, had it all wrapped up in a towel and everything, sitting in a chair with him. I smelled "something" and looked, didn't see anything, figured it was gas...figured wrong.

LOL I keep a poop flinging plastic spoon in a cup next to my brooders for when the chicks fling poo and shavings into their waterers!

Yup. I had heard of that happening, but hadn't ever seen it...lucky me. At least it wasn't diarrhea!
