Brought my girl inside after thinking she was having heat exhaustion (112f outside today) my girls have swamp cooler and mist fan. She was laying down panting wouldn’t stand for me. She perked up inside started standing but now I noticed her stool has small amount of blood. She’s had nothing red to eat today. Any ideas? Should I plan to treat everyone with Corid?

How old is she?
Does she lay eggs?

When was the last time you dewormed?
She is a year and some change, she’s been laying just a little slowed down with the heat. Haven’t dewormed in a while probably about 8 months. You think maybe that might be it? She perked up a bit started pecking around after I did a little Epson salt bath, cleaned her dirty butt and inspected her vent it all looked good.

Hard to know if worms are the problem or not.

She perked up after a soaking, I wonder if she's having a hard time expelling a soft shelled egg. Heat stress can be hard on them that's for sure. You can give her 1 Calcium Citrate+D3 tablet once daily for a few days to see if she pushes out any material.

Getting a fecal float if possible, will tell you if deworming is needed, but sometimes that's not an option, so deworming might be helpful.
