Yeah but how do you think coyotes and wolves and such get food? I think mother nature can take care of it without us interfering. After all shes done it for years. And besides theres no proof that she has been hit by a car. Ive broken my legs before, and Ive NEVER been hit by a car.

Wonder mhy they die by teh creek? Mybe that is where they want to go? I saw a raccoon in my yard before that only had three feet. One must have gotten chopped off by our landlord's bushhog. It was sad to see him walk with one front foot gone. My dad went out with my and we were gonna put him out of his misery but we couldnt. He kept hissing.

about the mother nature thing..... theres a large population of deer here in PA (atleast on my side) they are over populated.....this isnt the way that you'd want to see the deer be managed, but her being taken out by whatever means and at her age even though its sad....it in a way is an artifical nature.

My hope is a coyote does get to her through the night, not a great death...but that IS how nature takes care of things.....if i find her htough i'll take care of her myself theres no rehabilitating her.

You know a good wildlife rehabilitatior would but her down and give her peace and respect of a death not at the jaws of a predator while she is still alive. And mother nature did not make a car.

Plus the fact that after talking to my dad he thikns she may have broken her legs on the rocky cliffs around here, which wouuld make it nature...and predators pick the weak and injured...THATS life. that's nature.

the bottom line here is....monarch is an awesome person....so..lets stop judging her...she already explained WHY she couldnt just go up to it and shoot it...there are laws!....period...
