I may just have to divorce my hubby, and marry you... Tell Ashlee to watch out!! Really though, I love eggs, I love pickles, can't go wrong with pickled eggs!!!

I'm with redhen.....!!

Are you able to eat the eggs without heating the juice, or, would it be safer to heat the juice, before the eggs are eaten?

For the all-important question . . . as far as heating the brine, every recipe I looked at said to heat it up for a bit, not quite to a boil.
I guess maybe it helps it to soak into the egg . . . maybe.

I dont think youll get sick if you dont heat it.

So, Im at it again and I have a new idea!

I have a whole bottle of Basalmic Vinegarette Salad Dressing . . .

I think the stuff is Fantastic on salad . . .
I have an abundance of chicken eggs right now . . .

I just need a jar big enough to make it worth my while . . .

Edit-

Got it!!!
Imma keep it real and use a wide-mouth Gatorade bottle

Eta again-
Scratch the Gatorade bottle, it would be too hard to retrieve the eggs . . .
Im going with a large bottle of Ragu Old World Style Meat Sauce!
Its perfect!

And, I get a midnight snack of some sketti, cause theres still about 1/2 the jar of sauce!

So, in theory, you could do the same with leftover pickle juice from pickles you made yourself yes? I made up, oh was it 8?, pints a couple weeks ago... got down to two (family and friends plus us) so made 3 1/2 quarts over the weekend... so, I'ma have pickle juice to spare... think it would work okay??

Seems like it would, but a second opinion never hurts... well, maybe your ego...

Yeah I think it would be even better homemade, would nearly be just the old fashioned way of making them lol.

To the one who asks about heating the brine.... If you are using old pickle juice, there is no need, we do it all the time and just pull the jar out of the fridge and pop the eggs in. no problemo. Easy peasy.
