Possible early signs of Roos?

#1 EE or cinnamon queen is what they told us seems to have some reddish on its comb and wattles are turning red as well.

#2 RIR has a larger comb (thats turning reddish at the base) than #3 who is also a RIR

Could this be an early sign of them being Roos?

How old? Their combs look small and pink so from what I know, they're probably all young pullets.

Cockerels ( Young Roosters ) will be bigger then the Hens / Pullets. The Cockerels feet and will be larger / thicker, they will be more bold than hens but more friendly than a female, ( this also reverses in age ) the Cockerels comb and wattle will be a darker pink and will grow quicker than a pullet and be larger, they might start growing more arched tail feathers, spurs can become noticeable at an early stage, and you can try to wing or vent sex them but wing sexing might be unreliable and vent sexing is or can be dangerous... ( You can sex them by when they crow but they don't officially start crowing until 8-10 weeks. Females can also try crowing so you'll have to be careful with that. )

I'd keep an eye on number 1 to see if that comb turns more red - if it does, my vote will be roo. If it stays pink, my vote is pullet. 2 and 3 look to be pullets currently.

To the note of vent sexing, I know it was mentioned to be dangerous, but I just wanted to reiterate - Vent sexing should NOT be attempted by non-professionals. One wrong move and the chick could be killed. Please stick to visual inspections of the outside of the bird.

I have a cockerel in my group right now & he was by far the runt of the group & still is. They are almost 5 weeks & his comb was noticeable by 3 weeks & his wattles by 4.
