Should the orpington have a tail by nowThe Brahma has a fairly large comb for its age, but it's still too early to say one way or the other. The Orpington is looking like a pullet.

Not having a tail isn't really diagnostic-- you look at several things, not just that. The small, pale comb is more important, in my opinion, and that is a good sign of it being a pullet.Should the orpington have a tail by now
I will take a pic again of her/him..thy brahma by itself. I better grab a flashlightThe brahma's comb does look bigger in this photo. It's possible that one is a boy.
The Orp is a girl though.
Ya I do think its coming up more red vs in the day so will take more in the day too lolYes...do get us a close up of the Brahma's comb in good lighting. It is a bit pinker and fleshier, but it is not so big and red that it screams roo....which is why you have to wait with Brahmas and Orps....but the Orp really looks pullet at this point with no indication of roo.

Saturday will be 4 weeks that we have them. They looked like this when we got themHow old are they? (You might have already mentioned it, I may have missed it)
The other two look to be girls, but the Brahmas tricky. Some of the pictures make the comb look paler, while others make it look quite red. It does seem pretty big though. So I’m not really sure, but some other may be able to help more.
