Granny just look at the post count on number 2691,2692,2693, your post total didn't go up at all. You started with 41 eggs right?? Were they all fertile??? Any more thinking about coming out of their shell?? Maybe a shrink could convince them to come out? i started with 30 eggs. no 37. 6of them wernt fertile on day 7 and 1 had a blood ring. 30 went into lock down all fertile and kicking. 20 have hatched and perhaps more on the way. i dont know what to call what we got. it is terrible. we have about 4-5 inches of something. i am very lucky to have not lost power a lot of people has. it is white like snow but even with my weight i didnt break through.

i also cant get in the chicken coop today. the doors wont open and i cant move the snow/ice snice?? good thing for the outside nest box. at least they got feed.

i still have a couple that are living, they just dont want to come out !! i laughed so hard watching them hatch today my stomach muscles are sore. lol some of them worked so hard to come out, would look around and then try to go back in their shells.

Mine are feather ing up, lots of white with brown patches, pretty, very skittery this lot. They're fluffy with chest feathers coming in kind like little pillows

aww, they sound very pretty. i messed up on a couple of mine. i need handcuffs on. one was piped at the wrong end and i decided to "help" of course i killed it. i just dont learn. i have a few that are beautiful. colors i dont have but i cant get over that silver one. always a favorite. my mother said let me hold it and i said are your hands warm? hahahah i wouldnt let her until she warmed them up. terrible. i dont talk to my mom like that.
