I keep peering through the side of my incubator wondering if the plastic is wavy or those eggs are moving...

Good morning starkasm , be interesting to see what time zones everyones in, of course some are night owls or sparrow chirpers too. 4 1/2 hours ago was 4.30am.

Crested cream legbars are a blue egg layer and an auto sex breed. They are sexable at hatch by color. Both them and the Isbars are rare, valuable breeds. I spent over $50 on those eggs. I have a lot riding on them.

so, you guys know what good luck i have been having lately. TODAY, i went outside and on the outside of one of my runs is hanging upside down my old polish buff hen. geez ! i dont know how old she is but she has some wicked looking spurs and quit laying a year ago. no flapping, no movement at all. i guess she got her feet stuck in the chicken wire and decided to just lay there! her feet were twisted opposite of her body. so i go over untwist her and take her down and she just looks at me like , what do you think your doing? i figured her leg would be broke at least but nope! she just walk away and started eating like it was just normal for what she was doing .
