Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

i have an odd chick today. a polish. it was keeping botheyes closed , even walking like that. i would pick it up and it would open both eyes. now its walking with one eye closed and, its eyes are blue. is blue eyes normal? i had one dead chick with a birth defect?

you know, if i could learn to keep my hands to myself they probably would have. except one for sure. why dont i heed my own advise?? it makes me mad at myself and yet there i go again.

I don't know. I've never seen a blue-eyed chicken before. I think it sound like she could be blind? Maybe when you pick her up, she's startled and opens them?

Do her eyes bulge out at all? When you pick her up, do they follow any movement, or do they just stare?

well, i know they dont bulge out they look normal. not sure about the following part. im gonna have to get someone else to got her out for b\me. i sat on the floor to play with them today and couldnt get back up. my leg... hahhaha will check in the morn. though. i am going to bed. my heart wants to flip flop tonight. behave yourself.

cheyan, the eyes are fine this morning. still blue, can see fine because its cocking its head up and staring me right in the eye. lol they will probably change color when its a bit older. AND there is 2 more this morning and not done yet.

You've gotta take a picture of the blue-eyed one! I'd love to see it.

tell you what i did, i put big and small eggs in at the same time expecting them to hatch at different times and then i added some small eggs the next day or two thinking they would hatch when the big ones did. i was wrong again. they all hatched at the same time and i guess these are the ones i added late. you dont know how bad i want to add pics. it sucks !!!!

you know , i fell asleep talking to you last night ?? woke up and kept talking. lol thats a sign of old age, i dont know why it happened to me.
