Hahahah! One of my friends parents has a place in Florida. We saved up loads of money to go a couple of years ago, but we didn't save enough... £800 for a flight which is like, $1338 (yikes!) we only had £2000 so wasn't enough for 2 flights and spending money. Stupid oil prices!

Germany this summer, or just south England... we shall see how much money we can save

I have a pacing hen quail... the other two have laid today... I think this one is freaking out about her bird period!!

they are very pretty, is that the kind you ate? i culled a couple roos yesterday but because they are sick the wild critters had a treat. hope its not contagious. i cant bury or burn.

That's so cute and funny, teradragon! Guess what came in the mail today? The seller got back to me. The eggs were laid and shipped out on monday, so he doesn't think there'd be any reason for them to not be viable. He said to go ahead and hatch them anyway, and if the hatch rate is crappy, he'll see what he can do. Seems reasonable enough, I guess. Wasn't expecting for there to be 20 of them though!

Gonna let them sit for a few hours before I put them in the bator. They're pretty eggs. Not all colorful like the last batch, but very pretty.

Haha, I have a swing in my chicken coop. It's made out of a pvp pipe and some rope. Only two of the hens use it. It's hilarious.
