possibly the best idea we have had yet! new waterer concept

It's too bad you didn't know about "street ells" or street elbows" before you cut all those "1-1/2 inch extensions" to fit your elbows to the tees. The street ells would fit right into the tees.

Suscribing because I want to see the final set up. I a bit confused. If you attatch the 5 gal bucket to the pipe, how will you fill it and flip it upside down to create the vacuum pressure?

we will be attaching the system to a sealed bucket, but we are installing 2 shut off valves so we can refill it without it all running into the coop. one valve will be on the 1/2 inch pvc bfore the pipe converts to 1 1/2 inch and the other valve is going to be on the top of the bucket so I can hook the hose to it(this is the plan at this point). I am so tired of having to flip the waterer that we use now, we really wanted to figure a different method. but this is definitely trial and error at this point, bcause we don't know anyone with anything similar to this "model"

Awesome... I wonder if I can do this at a 2 inch setting so the rabbits can drink too- and just have a screw on end on one side and run the hose into the other - then all we'd have to do is trun on the hose

5 gallon bucket with lid, stock tank water valve with float.

Cut 3" dia hole is side of bucket, install water valve, hook to hose.

Total cost under $20 depending on if you got a bucket on hand.
