Hey folks....how do you keep the pesky flys away from your ducks food? I have so many always on the food and around it because the duckies make a huge mess. What can I do to rid these flys??

I clean the area all the time but they are in the actual food bowl eating its. This year seems the year of the fly. I have never seen so many darn flys!

I just hung fly traps over where I see them the most. Not really a 100% solution but it's helping.

Like fly sticky paper or is there something else. I have never bought a fly trap? Sounds like something I could use hear the feeder though. I have a ton of flys in the chicken coops also. I have never seen it like this. They are all over the food not the poop lol

ok i will try taking it that way! um im new at doing all this camrea stuff so how would i load them on to my laptop? lol

My camera takes an SD memory card and my computer also has a slot for it, so I take it out of camera and plug it into the computer. Then when I go to post a pic, I click the insert pic button, then browse, then hit My Computer, then the drive that the card is in, then select the photo and load it up! Good luck ducky!

Another question....I'm wanting to put in a large pond using the pond fabric and stones like some of the pics above... So my question in how do you drain and/or clean a pond like that? I have a baby pool for the time being but would like to put in something larger

TSC has some BUT what ever you do do NOT spill it because they reak SO BAD!!! We had one on the side of the dogs coop and he walkd into it knocking it and exploded on him << LOL but he smelled SUPER grose. So just beware and it was also filled with flies which got stuck to him

Thanks a bunch I will head over there after work tomorrow and see what I find. I just feel bad like the chickens and ducks are being bitten or something by all these darn flys. I don't know if they bite them or not but man they annoy the crap out of me I can't imagine how my ducks feel

Fly problem? Clearly you need chickens to eat those/
