In all the different things one could do on this forum, I personally don't feel post count padding is a terrible offense, especially if it is kept out of the more "serious" sections of the forum.

Post counts are about 95% just for fun, so padding them doesn't really hurt anyone unless it interferes with the helpful portions of the site.

Moderation in all things.
