Post Phoenix Pics Please

@bronzefarmer what are you looking to trade in return?
@Puddin Fluffhaha Hey well that's good she us laying. I have one about 7 months old still not laying. She very very soft with rooster feathering.

Yep, got another one yesterday. That's 3 days in a row for her and this is the coldest week we've had, go figure.:confused: I guess when your ready, your ready. Now I just need to figure out which hen has restarted with her. I really need a chicken cam!

@Puddin Fluff yea we all need a camera in there lol. There's some neat inexpensive ones on eBay that I've thought of buying.

@bronzefarmer
I have both silver and gold Phoenix so whatever you need let me know.

The correct coloring should be just like any silver duckwing bird(old English for example) the legs should be slate/blue and ear lobes should be full white and smooth(no folds)

well then my birds arent full bred. male has more grey then slate legs, earlobes are partially red and partially white, has leakage of brown in hackle, saddle and wing feathers. what cause a comb to fold? not ancona hen fold but at the end it curls inward my serama roos does it too.

will washing his tail make it not look so cruddy?
400
this is around his shoulder/wing

He has golden parent... Silver should only be black and white. No other color. Rhose are called dirty silvers, but genetically are a golden duckwing.
Slate leg whiye lobes.... Grey pretty much is slate.

Little red is common, though a flaw.
Floppy comb is caused by lack of sun light this time of year. Pale floppy is sickness.
If the bird had a proper comb and it started flopping, its just due to lack of sun. Itll stand back up thia spring id you have it out in the sun.

If its been that way since hatch, its genetic and shouldnt be bred.

Will have eggs and chicks from about 25 vatieties this spring if it will help anyone. All from imported German stock. Few large fowl also that are direct german stock

And yes, washing will clean the crud off the tail. That upper back pic is a sign of the gold parent.the bluish tint in the wing is too.... No big deal, hes just not pure silver. Breed him to a silver hen and most all would be silver
