Post Phoenix Pics Please

Pics
no.

Non molters do, but not true phoenix, only thing special about them is the tail care if you want them to be full and unbroken.

Non molters need a diet free of grains other than brown rice. From what I have read on them, they cant process gluten which is in all forms of grain we have. Over a period of a few years it builds up to a toxic level in their systems and will kill them. They also do well on fish proteins, tons of greens especially lettuce. It has a chemical in it that is great for sustained feather growth.

But again, no for run of the mill normal phoenix, they can eat anything.

I know it's random, but I have some updated pics of the baby phoenixes and their 2 misfit friends.

Oh nice! What a nice breed to having free ranging on your yard!

Oh, And Boggy, thanks for answering, I wasn't sure i have been doing a lot of reading up on Lontails and I wasn't sure if that Gluten thing was the same for Phoenix's too

Okay so I come from dogs and dog showing and their breed standards are available for anyone to be read online. Is the Phoenix standard available somewhere? Or do I just need to suck it up and invest in the SOP book? I assume the bantam standard is the same except maybe for recognized colors?

This is from Standard Varieties of Chickens by George Ellsworth Howard its a free book that is available online. I thought it was interesting so thought I would share:
