Post Phoenix Pics Please

I think several of us are working on crele colorations. Here are some pics of two non-cooperative bantam roosters - one and two years old.

My original stock came from Toni-Marie Astin and I have been working with them for about a half dozen years already. They are not in the best condition as they were removed from breeding pens for the pics. I have some coming along this year that have better tail fullness and length so I hope to see improvements each year.

yes, I am also, crele and silver crele. I also got the start from Toni with a silver crele male. Been spreading him over the girls to get them going in the various duckwing colors, also have finish solid barred and working on dun, blue, and lavender barred now in them.

single factored silver barred male, the original bird from Toni, and a barred birchen hen I made off him the year before

cuckoo pullet also made off him from the previous year in with several of the birchen versions

Great Looking Birds there Aubrey - Nice to know you are into so many color variations with the creles.

It is fun but a whole lot to do when you are going in many project directions. My head would be spinning nonstop if I had as much Bantam Phoenix breeding going on as you do. And then of course, there are all the other breeds you raise too.

Judging from the lacing on his chest, he is birchen split to duckwing.. Beautiful bird Aubrey.. Toni did you good!

I love my LG, but I never use it this late in the season. I like to use it when we still have heat on in the house because it's pretty much the same. The key with them is to place it somewhere where the external temp stays fairly the same. Where is yours now?
Ouuu good call! I should close off all vents in that room.
Its in my tiny bedroom/storage room

not necessarily, just dont put it right over a vent. Not sure where you live, but here if we shut of the vents in a room it'll get very hot, and that will fluctuate any incubator. The main thing is a stable environment. So just be sure it's in a climate controlled room, not directly over an AC vent and you should be fine
