I can't sit anywhere in the yard without lucky grooming my feet and then laying on them. She is the only one that does this.

Peck just stands nearby and watches.

She gets so jealous if I pet any of my chickens or ducks. She attacks them and chased them away. She will nudge my hand like a dog does if I am petting her and stop.
I never thought a turkey could get that attached to a person but I really enjoy spoiling her.

Can anyone tell me at what age turkeys start laying eggs? I have two girls that are about 5 months old. Do they need nesting boxes like the chickens?
