post your chicken coop pictures here!

We use a cam in our coop and one in our run.

I've got the interior camera up and working. Got the app installed and running. It took close to 5 hours to get one camera installed and working remotely. It was too late to move the chicks. But they will go in tomorrow and I will feel better being able to check up on them any time any place.
Love it! I just went with a vTech video camera baby monitor setup...still haven't installed it. Got the electricity out to the shed yesterday but today it's raining...figures! I'm not tech-savvy at all so this ought to be an experience...yikes!!

The system I bought was crazy difficult to set up. It took multiple calls to tech support. I finally have it working. I put two cameras in the coop for now. Of course they are sleeping out of range!!! But it is really nice to be able just to check in really quick.

Love the ingenuity of your build!! Bravo! With that said, I see you're in Maine, you've got that coop backed up to the forest, and I assume you have predators...lots of predators. You've used 2"x 4" wire for your outdoor run...this will not keep them out...fox, raccoon, coyote(?), etc. You really should beef that up some. Is this a temporary setup for them? If not, I'd highly suggest you get them more secured including a roof...JMHO...best of luck! (PS: I don't mean to sound like a "downer", would just hate to see your flock wiped out)....

I just calculated all my costs to build and supply my new chicken coop.
1. electrical (includes automatic coop door) $151.00
2.chicks and supplies (6 Americana's and 6 Wellsummers)
(waters, feeders, feed, etc.) $200.00
3.Coop $1700
4. Chicken run $575.00
Total : $2636.00!
