post your chicken coop pictures here!

We get it, you don't like chicken wire.

TeeHee - did you like my rant?

Yes, yes, Woot ! Woot ! This is the way to do it! I know yours isn't one but this is the answer to all those who bought the premade coops and now don't have enough room! This needs to go into the coops gallery, it is that good! And answers that frequently asked question: " I bought the pre-made coop. It doesn't really hold the number of chickens they said it would. What do I do??" Just an additional thought, if you want a foul weather shelter or bathing area, Lowe's sells translucent vinyl carpet runner ( smooth both sides). Tack it around the outside three sides of the platform the coop is resting on.
Best Success, indeed !!

Thanks! The inside coop is the premade one we had, and we added a larger than the original room to it's back, and then went around it with the fencing. Roof needs to go on yet. Unfortunately we had to re-staple (with hammer in 1 1/2 in fence staples) the ENTIRE THING today. Live and learn. Regular staples are CRUD. I didn't know. I hope to add the roofing tomorrow (same fence material) and then steel roofing material from our house (leftover) on top of the run over the house section/nest boxes only (for snow protection).

I have put these pictures up before, but for anybody that was curious here is the whole shebang...
I need to re do the roosts. I didn't know they were supposed to be 2 x 4's the flat way. We have some scraps, shouldn't be too hard.

Here is our first coop. Built by my husband. Just need to add a roost, finish nesting boxes and possibly surround with pavers.

I like the way you put the run together....with panels. That just makes common sense to me... after trying wrap the wire from post to post on preset poles....I would much rather have done it with panels... Way to go!
