Almost done!!MB today if it doesn't rain then I can fill my coop with some RIRs :)

Love the design and the use of the pallet materials! Your plan looks very well thought out. We had our first snow here in IL yesterday and only in the 20's this weekend. I'm trying to wrap up my coop (outside) so I can start inside, maybe with a small heater. ;)
 
Thank u I'm glad I don't get snow fun to play in as a kid but now it would just be a hassle. If you can find a small roll of house wrap (tyvek)
It would work well water and wind proof
 
This is my main coop. In winter I put plastic sheeting all around it.

I added a side coop to the main coop. The side coop has a door into the hen house seen in the lean to on the right.

The inside of the side coop. I like to use this smaller coop for the babies that are just getting outside for the first time.

The second 2 are on the door that is only used for cleaning. I also used metal J hooks that make the roost bars removable to clean or replace. I set them about 10" from the the bottom of window seal so when the window is open the kids can see them sleeping
