Post Your Coop Pics

I've gone a different route with my build. I got some 4x6x6 posts from a neighbor that he got from a pallet. and will use these for the corner posts. using the full 6ft on the front and have cut off 6in in the back so the snow and rain will drain off. Going to add a small run on one side
until spring when I can get the dog run 6x10x6 unfrozen from the ground and move it to the coop

Nice coop!!

ill try to post a pic soon . my old coop for my bantams was a recycled shipping crate painted red with recycled picket fence (antique white paint ) for the run and recycled wood with chicken wire in place as the frame of the run roof.

i also attached some home made wire flower containers filled with impatient flowerss onto the sides. it was pretty cute but with my larger flock i had no use for the coop and now it is gone

i love my peeps !!!!!

Here's mine - My uncle and cousin helped us (both are carpenters) ended up costing a little bit more than expected (roof shingles are expensive!) but it fits in with our backyard nicely.

Very nice, Smithyard Farm! Like the paint too!

Below is my coop to date. I have limited space, but wanted to build a walking to match the house and barn. We get our peeps end of April, so have a bit of work to do yet.

Initial Plans
I am re-purposing old windows, doors, porch brackets and even some furniture pieces that I've collected over the years.

All Framed Out

Mostly done with outside trim and will side soon.

Hope to start on the inside in a couple of weeks and the run this spring.
