Two of my gang were already named when I got them. My Cayuga drake is named Lucky. The man who I bought him from said that he named him Lucky because he didn't expect him to survive the hatching experience. Apparently he didn't do well, but snapped into fine health later on. There was a Pekin duck that he had rescued named Daisy. I fell in love with her, and bought her, too. There were two Cayuga ducks that I also bought from him, but they didn't have names. Since they came with Lucky, I named them Lola and Lilly. Later, I bought two more Pekin ducks. One prances around like she's the queen of everything. I named her Miss Priss. The other one is always bumping into things and is a klutz in general. I named her Daffy.

ETA: I forgot one. Tonto, the IR drake.

Grumpy and Dumpy (we ate Dumpy). In brief, Grumpy (Khaki Campbell) always wanted Dumpy's (Pekin) girl. Now Grumpy is happy. Unless Wumpy (other Khaki) wants Grumpy's girl... Apparently ducks are not monogamous. Each drake has two girls, called Grumpy's Girls and Wumpy's Girls. (I was not the one who named Wumpy.

Hi all! I am a 2nd grade teacher and have 20 Call eggs in my incubator in my classroom! Monday is Day 28 so hopefully I will have some pictures of hatching and ducklings to post!!! As well as names. Each year I let each student write a name on a piece of paper and then how ever many ducklings hatch thats how many names I pick out of the bucket.

These are some of my calls from a few years ago when I taught Pre-K. Their names were Callie, Quacky and Charlie.
