Another Francophone, how exciting! Take a look at my scroll, new2chix! I studied for three years in high school (though skipped a couple years and ended up in 5th year French when I graduated), and took a trip there too. I wish I had someone to practice with, and I'd love to learn more French.
Guess my idea for names wasn't as original as I thought!

I too would love to relearn the language. I went to france in 77 Loire valley. did the chateaux tours, mont st. michael, louvre, and other tourist attractions. Notre Dame, Chartres, lots. Loved it. I missed new2chix post though....
oh btw,
cool to see someone with a chessie. I live at the head of the chesapeake bay....
Big day today! We had two new layers! Nugget, my BO, laid a nice small brown egg. Unfortunately she recieved no fanfare because my OEGB Violet decided to lay today too---but jumped in the brooder to do it! Patch, the roo, followed her in, chased out all the chicks, and spend 2 hours in there showing her how to do it.
I don't have a camera to send I picture and this is not my first egg but it is Uno's(Speckled Sussex) first one, she is special because even though she is a late layer, a bout 7/8 months old , she was the very first egg I ever incubated and hatched out, hence the name UNO lol, I almost lost her but she made it and is now laying her own eggs what a good girl she is.
